Custom Woodworking

Meet Mark Coburn!

Coburn’s Woodworks was established in 1990 by Mark Coburn. He got his first taste of woodworking at a young age helping his dad to build picnic tables, custom kitchens or other wood projects for friends. When his father hired a local carpenter to build their garage, Mark was able to spend many days learning new skills in the trade. This carpenter ended up hiring him and he spent his high school years honing his skills and learning from this master carpenter. From full blown renovations, building corn hole boards or just making some log candle holders no custom wood working task is too small.

Mark is an machinist by trade, engineer by day and custom woodworker by night. You can find him in his workshop singing the latest Chris Stapleton song or vacuuming sawdust off himself as to not upset his wife for leaving a trail of man glitter(sawdust) into the house!

One of his favorites places to be is at his camp on Moosehead Lake in Maine. You can find him fishing, hunting, boating or snowmobiling and if he isn’t doing one of those things he’s likely mixing up an old fashioned!
